BuilT-In QR PORT Access is a proprietary Schindler solution that includes the ‘BuilT-In QR’ mobile app, PORT terminals, QR readers and BuilT-In Visitor Management System. Access rights, which are verified at the turnstile whenever passengers present their QR code to the reader, can be programmed, managed and controlled by building management through the BuilT-In QR dashboard.
Replacing pre-programmed access cards, QR codes can be quickly generated and scanned at any QR reader near any PORT-integrated turnstile or PORT terminal for car or floor registration.
Passengers can now select their destination floors with their own smartphones without getting into contact with any part of the PORT terminal.
To offer the best possible user experience, ‘BuilT-In QR’, an offline mobile application that is available on both iOS and Android, was developed around an intuitive design, allowing first-time users to become instantly familiar with its key features.
Thanks to the versatile BuilT-In API, with BuilT-In QR PORT Access databases can be seamlessly integrated between third-party QR systems and PORT, with the latter enhancing overall security. In addition, the BuilT-In QR dashboard runs on a flexible architecture that can be easily upgraded and made compatible with future building systems.

Record personal information and acknowledge privacy notice via reception or self-kiosk.
Open and activate the app using the provided activation code. Select destination floor on the virtual keypad to generate a dynamic QR code.
Hold your phone and present the dynamic QR code to the QR reader (within 10cm) on terminal or turnstile.
Following verification, the PORT terminal automatically display elevator allocation.

Add to or edit personal building list. Scan a unique activation code to add and save new building access credentials in your app.

Select destination floor. Select the destination floor on the scroll keypad and present the dynamic QR code to the PORT terminal reader or PORT-integrated turnstile.

Color theme. Color themes are designed to keep the contrast between the background and other UI elements visible at all times. Users can choose light or dark themes depending on their personal preferences.

Easy visitor management. Create a visitor’s pass and authorize specific floor access by entering expected entry date, visit duration and selected destination floor(s).
